Community Lunch

This is the third unit of our Systems and Models course called, "Organization". Throughout this unit we have mainly focused on SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats), and Maslow's Hierarchy. For our Action Project, we had to create a SWOT analysis for a system at GCE.  I chose to do the project based off our community lunch system here.

This is unit one of the Humanities course in Journalism. In this unit we learned about the news and how it can be portrayed differently. What is on social media is not always true and it can be perceived differently by different people. For our FE we went to the Congress Plaza Hotel to see a demonstration about an issue about a paying issue. Fruitvale Station

In My elective class, Ollywood, we just finished Unit 2 which focused on "Production". We learned about the main elements of film production, which included lighting, camera angles and acting. By watching films in class, we were able to discuss and gain a better understanding for these elements. For this units field experiences, we had a visitor come in for some advice with filming, and then we went to a theatre to watch a documentary on Englewood. Overall I really enjoyed this unit. What Is The Meaning Of Life?

This is the third and final unit of our Humanities course, called Journalism. In this unit, we learned about photography and how a photo can have a significant impact on the world. Our Field Experience included, visiting Roosevelt University and looking at an array of images with meaning. For this Action Project we had to take a photo and correlate it to the meaning of life.
