Have you ever thought about what actually goes into becoming an entrepreneur? Or how you can start your own business? Throughout my STEAM course, Entrepreneurship, we have been discussing what makes a business successful and how some businesses can improve in becoming more transparent with their consumers. For this Action Project we had to choose a topic to teach to the class with a partner. For our presentation we focused on marketing; the action or business of promoting and selling products or services including market research and advertising. In our lesson, we focused on making the slideshow more interactive by adding images and asking the other students what they thought about the advertisement and whether it'd get there attention to buy the product/service or not. This is our first unit of our STEAM course called Systems and Models. In this class, we learned about different personality tests and what they mean for each person. We also got to research two different Psychologists to gain a better understanding for what they actually do. For our field experience, we visited the Johnson O'Connor Research Foundation. There, we learned about how they test individuals and what their specific test does for people getting the results. For the AP, I really enjoyed that it was mainly about ourselves. I liked that we were able to be creative and choose how we wanted to represent ourselves. I hope you enjoy! Senior Fundraising!   After learning more about fundraising in Economics, the seniors of GCE Lab School decided to take on the challenge. This term, we worked in groups to create a successful system to fundraise for our senior trip as well as charity. In this presentation you will see the work it took to create our senior store, and how we have been keeping up with it. Before doing this project I never realized all of the work that had to be put into creating a business like this. The seniors are excited to continue this process of running a store and raising money.
