Fruitvale Station

In My elective class, Ollywood, we just finished Unit 2 which focused on "Production". We learned about the main elements of film production, which included lighting, camera angles and acting. By watching films in class, we were able to discuss and gain a better understanding for these elements. For this units field experiences, we had a visitor come in for some advice with filming, and then we went to a theatre to watch a documentary on Englewood. Overall I really enjoyed this unit. I found the AP to be very unique.

What Is The Meaning Of Life?

This is the third and final unit of our Humanities course, called Journalism. In this unit, we learned about photography and how a photo can have a significant impact on the world. Our Field Experience included, visiting Roosevelt University and looking at an array of images with meaning. For this Action Project we had to take a photo and correlate it to the meaning of life. I chose my mom because I feel so has a gentle outlook on life. (Kelly and SDC posing, 2018) It is a huge question in today’s society; what is the meaning of life?
